In order for SHOP PERSONALISED GIFTS to become security verified by PayPal & Shopify Payments - Stripe we need to verify that our website is using at least 256-Bit SSL Encryption on pages where private information can be entered, such as credit cards, Social Security numbers, loan information, etc. and we monitor the SSL certificates expiration. Shop Personalised Gifts payment providers are also PCI compliant.

We encourage responsible spending

Ensure you can make repayments on time. You must be 18+ and a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands). Clearpay charges a £6 late fee for each late instalment and a further £6 if it’s still unpaid 7 days later. Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £24 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Clearpay in the future and your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency working on Clearpay’s behalf. Laybuy offers online shoppers a simple interest free payment plan that lets you secure your purchase today and pay for it in 6 equal payments, once a week for 6 weeks.

Laybuy performs a credit check to obtain a credit score on all new users upon registration. Once your credit score has been confirmed and your account has been verified, Laybuy assigns your Laybuy limit and you can begin shopping immediately.

The first payment equal to one sixth of the purchase price occurs once your order is completed. The remaining 5 payments are processed each week on the day of the original purchase from your nominated card. No further action is required and all account information including a payment schedule can be viewed, at any time, through your Laybuy account.

 Shopify Secure Payments:

Security is one of the biggest considerations in everything Stripe do. Stripe provide three methods for tokenizing your customer’s payment information (e.g., card number, expiration date, CVC, ZIP/postal code) over HTTPS:

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.

HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections

Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the Dashboard.

Stripe.js is served only over TLS

Stripe’s official libraries connect to Stripe’s servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection

Stripe regularly audit the details of our implementation: the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HSTS to ensure browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Encryption of sensitive data and communication

All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.)

When registering or logging in to our site, we verify that your Internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher. Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 168 bits (the highest level commercially available). We store your personal information and ensure its heavily guarded both physically and electronically. To further safeguard your debit and credit card numbers and your bank account details, we do not directly connect our firewall-protected servers to the Internet.
